Senior Software Engineer:IOS
Location: Hyderabad
At Zippr, we are trying solve a very relevant problem of communicating unstructured physical addresses which are very prevelant in an emerging economy like India. As we embark on this journey, we are looking to build our technology team with individuals that have the passion to solve real problems and make an impact. To further our efforts, we are looking to bring onboard a strong mobile application developer to build applications on the iphone and ipad for Zippr’s product initiatives and support users multi-screen efforts.
What'll keep you busy at Zippr
- Understand the product requirements and be able to quickly turn-around a functional prototype for internal review and further refinement
- Be able to provide technical and analytical solutions to evaluate the merits and challenges of a product idea
- Be able to work independently on a project-by project basis and also work in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment
- Optimizing performance for the apps
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
- Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
Required Skills and Experience
- 2+ years experience in iOS mobile application development
- 4+ years of experience in Mobile development
- Experience with iOS, Objective C
- Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern object-oriented language such as Objective C (preferred), C++, or C#
- Published examples of mobile applications on the App store or the iOS market.
- Experience with Git, MySQL, XML, JSON and Web Services is desired but not mandatory.
- Be able to write elegant, readable, and well-documented code
- The ability to collaborate with the design and back-end engineers teams to ensure a great experience for our users.
- Ability to multi task and good time management skills
