1. What is Zippr?

A Zippr is a personal location short-code which can be shared with people you know, It is a four character, four number unique identifier such as XYZR1234 for physical locations, used by both merchants and friends alike to deliver a service or find you.

2. How is the Zippr App useful to me?

Zippr is a digital wallet for all your locations, and once you save them you will never need to enter, or explain an address again.

3. How do I create a Zippr?

Creating a Zippr is extremely easy, click the add location tile on the Zippr app and you will be able to see where you are on a map. You can save your current location, or use search to find another area, scroll to that location, and tap at a point you would like to save. You may want to fill the details about your address as additional info could help someone who intends to find you, but you will never need to enter it again.

4. How can I share a Zippr?

Every Zippr card has a share, and message icon. You can mail, message, or share it through social media. You can also spell your Zippr code just like a phone no and it can be translated back into a location anywhere.

5. How private are my Zipprs?

Zipprs are accessible to anybody with the link or the code, and will show up in our search. However, the identity of the creator will not be revealed unless it is created as a public Zippr (e.g. a restaurant or movie hall Zippr).

6. How do I save a Zippr?

Any zippr that you have received can be opened in any mobile browser, and by clicking the link “open in app.” If you have the app then you will be directed to the zippr application where you can always see it in the recent Zipprs tab.

7. Is Zippr free?

Zipprs can be created, and shared for free.

8. Is there any regional restriction for creating Zipprs?

No, Zipprs can be created and shared anywhere as long as your phone is connected to Edge or 3G.

9. How do I search for a Zippr?

The search feature is available on the app, and our website. It is found as a search icon on the home page, and as a field on the home page.

10. How do I look for the Zippr on my favourite list?

There a three tabs on your home page, Personal, Recent, and Favorite. All Zipprs created by the user are found in the Personal tab, Zipprs created or received appear in the recent tab in order of the time that they were created. Zipprs can be Favorited from the card itself, and they appear in the favourites tab.

11. Can I look for my friend’s Zippr?

Yes, you can search for all Zipprs with the code, but if they are private you will not know who created it.

12. What is a premium Zippr?

A premium Zippr is a custom location code that you can request such as VJAY8080. It can be personalized to your name, or consist of letters and numbers of personal significance. However, you cannot create Zipprs which may be four letter dictionary words, too common, or conflict with stock symbols. A code currently being used by another user will not be available. You own your custom code and you can always reuse it to point to another location.

13. How can I create a premium Zippr?

The premium Zippr feature is available in the side-menu which can be accessed with a right swipe from the home screen. There you can select the an existing Zippr or location, for which you would like to request a custom code. Enter the desired Zippr code, and you may enter comments as to why this code is significant to you.

14. Can a same location have more than one Zippr?

Yes, the same location can have multiple Zipprs.

15. Are my self created Zipprs exclusive to me?

Yes the code itself is exclusive but a Zippr once created can be shared, and saved by anyone you wish to share it with.

16. Is Zippr available on the PC?

You can currently search for a location using a Zippr code on our website.

17. In case I don’t have a smartphone can I create a Zippr?

At the moment you cannot create a Zippr without a smartphone.

18. In what other ways can Zippr help me?

Zippr helps you save, and share any location. So, the applications are endless as you can imagine. A few areas are Emergencies, social meet ups, food delivery, etc. Everytime someone asks you for an address ask them to take a Zippr and you should soon enough only be using Zippr codes and not your full address.
